Course Management System

If indeed knowledge is power, then the ProShot Golf System may well be the most powerful and valuable golf course management tool that owners and operators have ever had at their disposal.  Over the past 15-years, we have learned from our customers in reference to their specific management needs.  We have designed our system based on the feedback that we have received from the industry as a whole.

As we stated previously, we have chosen to keep our "front end" golfer system simple and traditional.  We have placed all of our emphasis on the Golf Course Management System for owners and operators.  ProShot Golf provides a computer, flat panel monitor and printer in the pro shop.  The entire golf course and home community (when applicable) are displayed on the monitor.  The position of each golf cart is recorded and displayed on the monitor in "real time."

One of the number one issues facing golf course operators today, is pace of play.  Our management system allows operators to be proactive to potential problems, as opposed to, reactive.  When golfers fall behind the target pace of play, the golf cart icon will turn a different color.  Pace of play is adjustable during the day.  Many operators give the early tee times less time to play their round and as the day becomes more impacted, the pace of play clock is adjusted accordingly.  With one click on a scroll bar, operators are able to back up to any time on the course and show the exact position of the golf carts.

Operators are able to see the status of any cart (position on the golf course, minutes ahead or behind, starting hole and how many holes played).  Operators are able to message an individual, group or the entire fleet.  ProShot's Management System provides preprogrammed messages, or the operator can type in their own personalized, individual message.  When a message is sent, it will replace the yardage information on the screen.  Golfer's must acknowledge each message by pressing any button, so that they can receive their yardage information.  All messages sent, received and acknowledged, are stored on the pro shop monitor.  Operators can also send ticker tape messages, which will not interfere with yardage and will instead, scroll along the top of the GPS screen.  Ticker tapes messages may include, sports score updates and pro shop specials etc.

ProShot Golf prides themselves in providing the most sophisticated management reports.  Operators are able to generate reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.  Our reports include Pace of Play by 9 and 18 hole rounds.  In addition, we provide a Pace of Play report by hole.  Operators can generate a Total Rounds report.  Operators are also able to draw the trail of any cart, in addition to, the entire fleet.  This report has been very useful in situations where golfers have violated certain access rules, damage to the golf course or damage to the golf cart (i.e. entering a body of water).  When golf course operators know who is on the cart, they are better equiped to have the "damage" taken care of, when they can prove where and when it occured.  One of ProShot's most useful reports is the Cart Utilization report.  Operators can literally give the cart maintenance personnel this report each week and it will identify exactly how many rounds each golf cart has completed.  There is no surprise that golf cart battery failures are occuring more regularly and have become an ongoing financial issue for owners/operators.  It is rare that carts are rotated to the point where the fleet is properly balanced.  This report is becoming more and more beneficial to operators today.

Operators have the ability to set up "Hot Zones."  Hot Zones may be areas that operators do not want golf carts driving into (parking lot, greens, environmentally protected areas and ground under repair etc.).  When golfers enter "hot zones" they will automatically be messaged to leave the area and they will not receive their yardage back until they acknowledge the message.  All "hot zone" violations are recorded on the pro shop management system.  Hot Zones can also be used for "Postitional Messages."  Operators can create a "hot zone" where they know that golfers will drive through.  These positional messages may be reminders, internal marketing etc.

ProShot Golf has a unique feature that our customers take full advantage of.  Operators are able to change their text database at any time.  Operators have used this feature to personalize tournaments, create electronic hole sponsors, in addition to, their own personal marketing needs.

The success that ProShot Golf has experienced is a direct result of the products it has brought to the golf marketplace.  Golf course owners and operators know that the ProShot Golf System delivers valuable services to the golfer and essential management tools to course operators, at a price point that is affordable in today's economy.

Course Management System

"Since I have been using the ProShot GPS System (8-years), the management system has proven to be a tremendous asset.  Pace of play has improved and I have increased revenues and saved in overhead.  As a golf course manager, I could not envision doing without the ProShot GPS System.
